Sector Latino's Statement

For the past couple of weeks we have been working with the Chicago Fire Front Office to not only resolve this issue and keep Section 101, but to also ensure that this type of conundrum does not happen to any other Supporters Group in the long-term future.
The club and ISA have come up with criteria for keeping our own section. One of the requirements obviously is the number of Season Tickets we will have to have in order to keep the section. The club approached us with a number and we have agreed that 100 Season Tickets is reasonable and fair for both parties. That number not only helps Sector Latino keep section 101, it also helps the group grow and enhance the game day atmosphere at Toyota Park.
The deadline to hit the 100 Season Ticket mark and hopefully even surpass it, is set for the end of the 2014 season. This goal is to ensure the long-term permanence and sustainability of Sector Latino. We are currently at 52 season tickets and the number keeps going up everyday.
We would like to thank the Chicago Fire front office for working with us in resolving this issue. Most of all, thank you to everyone that has supported Sector Latino through this ordeal either by purchasing season tickets with us, switching your season tickets to section101, donating through the GoFundMe page, or expressing your support on the various social networks as well as forums. It is all very greatly appreciated, and all your support has led us to getting closer to our goal.
